Brandt was born January 15, 1934 in Holyoke, Colorado to Ella Stinnette and was adopted by William F. and Edith S. (Saunders) Brandt and the age of 6 months [March 10, 1934]. He attended school in Giltner, Nebraska. He served in the United States Army from May 7, 1956 to March 3, 1958. Brandt, 69, of 220 Pine, Harvard, Nebraska, died Wednesday, October 22, 2003 at his home. There will be no services. Delmer F. Brandt was born January 15, 1934 in Holyoke, Colorado to Ella Stinnette and was adopted by William F. and Edith S. (Saunders) Brandt and the age of 6 months [March 10, 1934]. He married Mary Ann Fries on November 25, 1976 and she preceded him in death on October 19, 1986. He moved from Giltner, Nebraska to Harvard, Nebraska in 1987 and married Alice (Adams) Leichleiter on August 30, 1987. He was a member of Doniphan Methodist Church, Doniphan, Nebraska. Delmer F. Brandt was preceded in death by his parents, brother and first wife, Mary Ann. Survivors include his wife, Alice Brandt, Harvard, NE; step-sons, Lyle Leichleiter, Harvard, NE, Andrew Leichleiter, Harvard, NE, Stuart Leichleiter, Phillips, NE, Daniel Leichleiter, Harvard, NE; 13 step-grandchildren; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; and cousins.--Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home & Cremation
