She was gradated from Ansley High School and Springfield Business College. Mary Ann was married briefly to John Dobesh in 1969. On November 27, 1976, she married Delmer Brandt, and the past 10 years they made their home in Giltner. In childhood it was learned she had epilepsy. Throughout her lifetime she dealt with her handicap doing all the things normal people do, although the handicap became increasingly severe. She especially enjoyed their animals and the flowers in her garden. Those who remain to cherish her memory are her husband Delmer, her parents Mr. and Mrs. Donald C.
