Description	:	DeLores Gotschall, 85, of Lincoln, Nebraska, (formerly of Monroe, Nebraska), died Saturday, December 24, 2016, at the Lancaster Manor in Lincoln. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 29 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Gass Haney Funeral Home. Private interment will be held on a later date in the Friend Cemetery, rural Monroe. She graduated from Monroe High School and attended Omaha Commercial Extension Business College. On September 30, 1950, DeLores was united in marriage to Virgil Gotschall at the Monroe Methodist Church. DeLores worked in the accounting department at Becton Dickinson before working in the office at Monroe Grain Company which later became the Foxley Grain Company. DeLores was a 50+ year member of the Monroe Methodist Church and 50+ year member of Order of Eastern Star. She enjoyed doing oil paintings, trips to the casino, flowers, and spending time with family and friends. DeLores is survived by: Daughter – Susan Gotschall of Lincoln, NE Brother – Donald Schmidt of Columbus, NE Sisters-in-law – Verlyn Farrar of Ralston, NE; Dorothy Gotschall of Columbus, NE; and Bonnie (Gene) Loyd of Newman Grove, NE; Brother-in-law – Dennis (Jean) Gotschall of Dunbar, NE DeLores was preceded in death by: Parents – Alfred and Margaret Schmidt Husband – Virgil Gotschall Son – Barry Gotschall Sisters-in-law – Vernel Rupp and Dottie Gotschall Brothers-in-law – Jean Rupp, Javonne Gotschall, Glen Gotschall, Jr., Gaylen Gotschall, and Francis Farrar
