She was born February 24, 1926 in Dillon, Kansas the daughter of William and Amanda (Sprecher) Root. Growing up in Enterprise, Kansas, Dee attended local schools and graduated from Enterprise High School. Early in her life, she was married to Maynard Haldeman, later divorcing. Read More	Delorus A. (Dee) (Root) Haldeman McCune Wright--Married three times. Delorus A. (Dee) Wright 88, passed away Sunday, March 16th, in Leornardville, Kansas. She was born February 24, 1926 in Dillon, Kansas the daughter of William and Amanda (Sprecher) Root. Growing up in Enterprise, Kansas, Dee attended local schools and graduated from Enterprise High School. Early in her life, she was married to Maynard Haldeman, later divorcing. On April 5, 1963, Dee was married to Robert McCune. All their married life was spent in Manhattan. He preceded her in death March 22, 1985. On May 11, 1996 she was married to Ray Wright. Most of their married life was spent in Salina and Manhattan. He preceded her in death June 29, 2008. Dee was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Mark McCune June 16, 2008, ten sisters and four brothers. She was a member of the Manhattan Church of Christ. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 19th, at the Danner Funeral Home with Rev Kevin Larson officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. Wednesday until service time. The family suggests memorial contributions in her name be given to the Leonardville Nursing Home or the Alzheimers Association.
