Son of William Andrew Lovell and Clara Viola Vickroy OBITUARY THE CHARITON HERALD-PATRIOT Chariton, Iowa Thursday, October 19, 1978 LOVELL Dennie Harl Lovell, son of W. A. and Clara Viola Vickroy Lovell, was born July 15, 1894 near Lacona, in Warren County, Iowa, and passed away at the Lucas County Memorial Hospital Oct. 12, 1978, at the age of 84 years, two months and 27 days. On March 10, 1915 he was united in marriage to Vienna Mae Crooks. They spent all their married life in Lucas and Warrren counties with the exception of two years in Rapid City, S.D. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in March, 1965. To this union five children were born: Inez Cackler and Mildren Oxenreider of Chariton; Bryon of Denver, Colo.; Guy of Indianola and Harold, deceased. Dennie was preceded in death by his father and mother; his wife, Mae; one son, Harold; two grandchildren; four brothers, George, Chester, Raymond and Roy; and five sisters, Elsie, Gladys, Marie, Lowie and Viola. Surviving him besides his four children are two sons-in-law, Clovie Cackler and Willard Oxenreider; 17 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren; one sister, Edna Brower of El Monte, Calif., and a host of nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 16, at the Fielding Funeral Home with the Rev. Jill Carlson officiating. Interment was in the Graceland Cemetery in Lucas County.
