Daughter of William Andrew Lovell and Clara Viola Vickroy OBITUARY THE CHARITON HERALD-PATRIOT Chariton, Iowa Thursday, April 21, 1955 LOUIE BEATRICE WILLIAMS Louie Beatrice Williams, daughter of W. A. and Clara Lovell, was born near Lacona, Iowa, on Dec. 10, 1904. She passed away April 7 at the Baker Nursing Home in Chariton, following a stroke on April 6, 1955, at the age of 50 years, 3 months and 28 days. On Dec. 26, 1930, she was united in marriage to Leland C. Williams of Lacona, Ia. To this union four children were born, an infant son, James Kay, preceded her in death. Those left to mourn their loss are one son, William Burdett in the U.S. Navy, two daughters, Clara Beatrice and Zora Marie, both of Lacona, daughter-in-law Delores and grandson, Jackie of Washington, D.C. Also remaining are three sisters, Mrs. Elsie Clark and Mrs. Gladys Goering of Lacona, and Mrs. Edna Brower of Chariton, two brothers, Dennie of Chariton and Roy of Colorado, besides a host of other relatives and friends. Louie was a patient sufferer and had been unable to speak since a stroke in Nov. of 1952. Her trust was in the Lord and a better life to come where there is no pain, sorrow or death. She was a member of the Four Square church in Chariton. She was a wonderful mother, friend and neighbor and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, April 11, at the Mosher Funeral Home in Lacona, conducted by the Rev. Ray Harness. Burial was not until the following Sunday afternoon, waiting for further word from the son, William (Billy) who was at sea. She was laid to rest in the Arnold cemetery near Lacona.
