Description	:	MAHAFFEY, DICKEY SHOOPE age 72 yrs. missionary to India for 47 yrs. died of a heart attack while visiting at the home of Rev. J. W. Aleshire of near Stanley Sunday evening. Rev. Mahaffey had preached at a service Sunday afternoon at the Battle Creek Church and had been scheduled to preach at the Hilliard's Chapel Church that night. Married 11 Dec 1911 Eva M. Montgomery who survives him. He & Mrs. Mahaffey recently returned to Page Co. from India. Sisters, Mrs. Elmer Lawson & Mrs. Anna Swank of Pa. One son is deceased.
