Two years later, his father in the meantime having passed away, he came with his mother and the remainder of the family to Superior, where he grew to manhood. In 1909 he went East, making his home in Latrobe, Pa. Here in 1915 he was married to Miss Elsa Hermann (sic). About a year ago, his health beginning to fail, he went to Arizona, hoping for a recovery. Later, he returned to his home at Latrobe. He was compelled finally however, in an effort to regain his health, to go West to Colorado, but the altitude of that state proving too high for him, he was brought back to the old home in Superior about two months ago. His death occurred on Friday morning last, November 16th, at 8:30 o'clock. There are left to mourn is early decease, his wife and little son Doke (sic) Oswin Jr., of Latrobe, Pa., his mother, Mrs. Lucy Conn, two sisters Mrs. John Eyre and Miss Eunice Conn of Superior, and one brother, L.L. Conn of Latrobe, Pa. To these and to the relatives more distant, the sympathy of the entire community is extended. The funeral took place Monday, November 19th, at the home of his mother, Rev. J.M. Hamilton of the First Presbyterian church (sic) having charge of the services. Interment was made in Evergreen cemetery (sic).
