Description	:	Dollie Price Ellis, daughter of Robert and Frances Price, was born at Tingley, Ia., July 15, 1879. She departed this life at York, Neb., Sunday, October 11, 1959, at the age of 80 years, 2 months and 15 days. She moved with her parents to a farm north of Fairmont, Neb., when she was a young girl. March 5, 1902, she was united in marriage to Jesse M. Ellis at Fairmont. To this union were born two children, Mrs. Vadah Russell of Lincoln and Kenneth of Geneva. She departed this life at York, Neb., Sunday, October 11, 1959, at the age of 80 years, 2 months and 15 days. She moved with her parents to a farm north of Fairmont, Neb., when she was a young girl. March 5, 1902, she was united in marriage to Jesse M. Ellis at Fairmont. To this union were born two children, Mrs. Vadah Russell of Lincoln and Kenneth of Geneva. Her husband and children survive, also a brother, Warren Price of York; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. After their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Ellis lived on a farm north of Fairmont until 1923, when they moved to Geneva. She was a member of the First Methodist Church in Geneva; the Merry Mixers Kensington and the Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War. Funeral services were held at the Kritner-Farmer Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 14th, Rev. Alden B. Sears officiating. Ralph Reemts sang “The Old Rugged Cross” and “In the Garden,” with Mrs. Willard Foster as accompaniest. Pallbearers were Walter Doremus, Leslie Shuster, John Linnert, Ed McCluskey, Albert Tobiassen and Alvin Biester. Interment was in the Geneva Cemetery. The Nebraska Signal October 22nd, 1959 page 9.
