Dolores died Wed., May 16, 2018, at her home in Rolla surrounded by family and friends. She was born Mar. 24, 1934, in Lawrence, the daughter of Harry Leroy and Pauline Jane Urton Warmker. Dolores died Wed., May 16, 2018, at her home in Rolla surrounded by family and friends. She was born Mar. 24, 1934, in Lawrence, the daughter of Harry Leroy and Pauline Jane Urton Warmker. She graduated from Eudora High School, Class of 1952. Dolores worked as a commercial printer at Curtis 1000 for many years. She had also worked at Independent Laundry, The Congo Bar, and Joe’s Bakery. She was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, and the Veteran’s Children’s Home of Wisconsin. She enjoyed flowers and spending time with her grandkids. She married Willie L. Holladay on June 17, 1991, in Nashville Tennessee. He survives of the home. Other survivors include two sons, Stacy R. Smith and wife Michelle, Rolla, Kan., and Darran G. Smith and wife Nicole, Portland, Tenn.; seven grandchildren, Cpl. Jacob Smith and wife Anna Marie, Brianna Smith, Jessica Smith, Jeremy Smith, Noah Smith, Jadèan Smith, and Jessie Birdwell; and one great granddaughter, Abagail. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 pm Wednesday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home. The casket will remain closed. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) National Home for Children, in care of the funeral home, 601 Indiana St., Lawrence, KS, 66044.
