Description	:	ST. EDWARD — Dolores Ann Torson, 85, of St. Edward, passed away Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015, at Cloverlodge Care Center in St. Edward. Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at St. Edward Catholic Church in St. Edward with Msgr. Ralph Steffensmeier officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in St. Edward. A rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday prior to service. Her wishes were to be cremated. Palmer-Santin Funeral Home is serving the family. Dolores was born on Dec. 21, 1929, to Charles and Helen (Bolz) Werts in St. Edward. She married Archie Torson on Sept. 16, 1948, and the union was blessed with two children, Connie and Kim. She was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church and the altar society. She loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren. Her hobbies were collecting bells and Precious Moments figurines. She is survived by her husband; daughter, Connie (Darrell) Van Meter of O’Neill; son, Kim (Vivian) Torson of Omaha; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; three brothers, Duane (Donna) Werts of St. Edward, William (Iola) Werts of Columbus and Jerry (Linda) Werts of Humboldt; one sister, Pat (Homer) Nelson of Genoa; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Annie; brothers, James Werts and Denny Werts; and infant brother, William. Memorials are suggested to the family.
