Description	:	Don W. Lyne, a prominent farmer living west of Superior, died suddenly Sunday morning, March 6, at the Brodstone hospital (sic) in Superior, after a short illness. Nubby, as he was commonly known to a legion of friends, had first complained of not feeling well about six weeks ago at which time he had entered the hospital there for a few days observation and treatment. Lyne, a prominent farmer living west of Superior, died suddenly Sunday morning, March 6, at the Brodstone hospital (sic) in Superior, after a short illness. Nubby, as he was commonly known to a legion of friends, had first complained of not feeling well about six weeks ago at which time he had entered the hospital there for a few days observation and treatment. Since that time he had gone about his regular work on the farm, where late last year they began the construction of a new brick home. Saturday afternoon he was about Superior's streets and the illness which caused his removal to the hospital that evening came without warning. Mr. Lyne, third son of Philip and Mary Burcher Lyne, was born April 10, 1894 (sic), on the farm west of Superior. He was a graduate of Superior high school and a veteran of World War I. He served four years on the board of county commissioners. Surviving are his wife, Hazel Craig Lyne, one daughter, Marjorie, a grandson, Chat Vesley, together with two brothers and two sisters, Kate, Philip, Blaine and Nellie, all of Superior and vicinity. Military services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at the Denny funeral home, with John R. Bucknell the pastor in charge. Interment was made in the Superior cemetery.
