Donald was born April 1, 1938 to August and Fedilia (Coker) Brown in Hesston, KS. He worked as an auto mechanic and lived in places including: Moran, KS, California and Seattle, WA. Donald married Veronica Ashbaugh on August 6, 1977 in Larned, KS. She died March 27, 2006. He then moved to Grainfield, KS, Park, KS, and resided in Fremont for the last 15 years. He took pride in his grandchildren, and always loved to joke around and have fun. Survivors include son, Don Brown Jr. of Omaha, NE; daughters, Mary Good of Park, KS and Debbie Dove of Graham, WA; sister, Wilma Ashton of Larned, KS; 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Veronica; and 9 siblings. Memorial Service will be 10:30 A.M., Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Deacon Dave Probst will officiate. A book signing will be 1 hour prior to the service on Saturday. Burial will be at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family."
