Description	:	Cherokee Sentinel, Aug. 14, 1908, page 1: Died Donald, the little five year old son of Mr. and Mrs. M.J. McCants died last Saturday morning after only a few days illness. He was taken sick the first of the week but was not considered to be seriously ill until a day or two before he died. Funeral services were held at the residence last Sunday conducted by the Rev. Harmon Allen of the M.E. church and interment was made in the Cherokee cemetery.
