He was born March 11, 1921, in Allen County, the son of Carl and Pearl Regal Hollar. On Feb. 23, 1944, he married Helen Jenese Case, who survives. Mr. Hollar was a retired machinist with Teledyne Ohio Steel. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and was a U.S. Army veteran. Survivors include two sons, Michael Hollar and Tim Hollar, both of Lima; three grandchildren; six brothers, Clifford Hollar of Michigan and Marvin Hollar of Virginia, Richard Hollar, Darrell Hollar, Virgil Hollar and Wayne Hollar, all of Lima; and two sisters, Mrs. Richard (Margaret) Cassaro and Mrs. Richard (Gloria Jean) Covault, both of Lima. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Siferd Main Street Chapel, Rev. Willard Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 tonight and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
