Description	:	Donald O. Pratt, age 93, of Keokuk and formerly of Ft. Madison passed away on Friday, December 5, 2014 at 8:14 PM at River Hills Village in Keokuk. He was born on May 11, 1921 in Stockport, IA to Perry and Loretha Stevens Pratt. On November 23, 1944 he married Reba E. Coltrane in Los Angeles, CA and she passed away on September 20, 2013. Pratt, age 93, of Keokuk and formerly of Ft. Madison passed away on Friday, December 5, 2014 at 8:14 PM at River Hills Village in Keokuk. He was born on May 11, 1921 in Stockport, IA to Perry and Loretha Stevens Pratt. On November 23, 1944 he married Reba E. Coltrane in Los Angeles, CA and she passed away on September 20, 2013. Don retired as the Postmaster from the Fort Madison Post Office in 1979. He served in the US Air Force during WWII and was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. Don was also a member of the First Christian Church, the National Association of Federal Employees and the Elks Lodge. He volunteered for various functions in the community and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Survivors include a son, Darris (Jennifer) Pratt of Cedar Rapids; two daughters, Cecelia (Jospeh) Daniel of Huntington, MD and Susan Tackett of Bonaparte; ten grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one brother and two sisters. The funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, December 12, 2104 at the First Christian Church with Rev. John Simpson officiating. The family will meet with friends from 10 – 11 AM just prior to the service at the church. The graveside service with military rites will be held at 2 PM on Friday, December 12, 2014 at Dibble Cemetery in rural Stockport, IA. Cremation has been entrusted to King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. A memorial has been established for the Stockport Elvin E. Cecil American Legion or the First Christian Church.
