Description	:	DORA LEE STRAIN Dora Lee Strain, daughter of Mahlon and Sarah Jackson Blystone, was born in Neogs, Illinois on January 24, 1883. She lived in and around Sterling, Colorado and taught school and homesteaded in Colorado. On April 6, 1911, she was married to Ratio Strain and to this union were born seven children; Robert and Kenneth died in infancy, Larry of Ticton, Washington, Wilma Bangston of Villisca, Neil, who died March 1, 1973; Clarence fo Papillion, Nebraska and Marion of Omaha, Nebraska. She leaves, besides those named, four daughters-in-law; one son-in-law; 14 grandchildren, and three step grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and seven step-great grandchildren. Services were held Thursday, May 25, 1978 at the Sutphen Funeral Home in Villisca with Rev. Elliott T. Bodwell officiating Flower bearers were Mrs. Carl Johnson, and Mrs. Raymond Spring. Music was provided by Mrs. Quincy Dunn with musical selections, "The Old Rugged Cross" and "In The Garden." Mrs. Florence Mitchell was in charge of the registry. Casket bearers were Rick Skavdahl, Mick Michaelson, Terry Cooper, Gayle Heard, Larry Russell, and Bob Dunn, Jr. Interment was in the Villisca Cemetery.
