Parsons, 92, died May 17, 2007 at a Pittsfield hospital. She was born October 28, 1914 in Wallagrass, a daughter of Laurence and Isabelle (Corbin) Michaud. After graduating from high school, she attended Husson College in Bangor. Dora was employed as a private cook at homes in Connecticut and Massachusetts; and later worked as a weaver for Ski-Land in Clinton, and Moosehead Woolen Mill in Corinna. She was a communicant of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Pittsfield and was a member and past president of the St. Agnes Guild. She was past president of the Waterville District of Maine, Diocesan Council of Catholic Women, a member of the Columbus Guild of Waterville, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for nearly 70 years. She is survived by a brother, Richard and wife Ann Michaud of Newport; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Erlon; a brother, Neil Michaud; a sister, Rena Jarvis and step-daughter, Jean Page. Burial will be in the Pittsfield Village Cemetery.
