She was 46 years of age. Mrs. Overman was born in Villisca, Jul 24, 1894. She attended school here and was an attendant also at the Baptist church. Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Harding funeral home in Shenandoah and burial was in the Villisca cemetery. She is survived by her husband and one son Dorus and wife of Shenandoah, a step-son Jack, her parents and one brother Samuel, wife and two daughters all of Villisca. A daughter died in infancy and her sister, Mrs. Glen Case of Shenandoah, died two years ago. Mrs. Overman's death was caused by spiral meningitis. Attending the funeral from Villisca were Mr. and Mrs. Gardner, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Wilkey, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Werts, and Ben and Glenn Henry. ******** also known as Aunt "Dode"
