Mrs. McDaneld was a member of the local Baptist church for years. Owing to her ill health, she came to town to live with her son last July. Funeral arrangements will be made later. (Marion Sentinal December 7, 1923) Funeral of Mrs. McDaneld Funeral services for Mrs. Dora Carsner McDaneld will be held at the home of her son, Clyde Carsner, 613 Ninth avenue at 2:30 p.m. today and will be conducted by Rev. J.E. Bruner. Burial will be in Oak Shade cemetery. Obituary of Mrs. McDaneld Dora Andrews was born August 14, 1857, and passed away Friday morning, December 7, 1923, making her 66 years, 4 months and 23 days of age. She was united in marriaage to Miles Carsner, who preceded her in death in 1913. A little over two years later she was united in marriage to Mr. I.D. McDaneld, who survives her. Their home is in Yakima, Washington, but Mrs. McDaneld has been with her son of Marion since July. She has one daughter and two sons by her first marriage; Mrs. William Wing, Clyde and Carl Carsner. She also has seven grandchildren. Mrs. McDaneld belonged to the Degree of Honor and has been a member of the Baptist church for many years. Her church friends speak very highly of her relation to the church. Those who knew her as she lived speak commendatory of her life. Funeral services were conducted in the home of her son, Clyde, Sunday afternoon, December 9, and were conducted by Rev. J.E. Bruner. The music was by Mrs. Ethel Wood Birmingham. Interment was made in Oak Shade cemetery. (Marion Sentinal December 21, 1923)
