Funeral services will be held at the Shiloh church at 2 p.m. today, and will be in charge of Rev. David Miller. Burial will be in the Shiloh cemetery. Those who wish to view the remains may do so before the funeral at the Cathcart & Luellen chapel. Obitary of Mr. Andrews Erwin Gibbs Andrews was born in the state of Ohio, December 27, 1843. When two years old he came with his parents to Linn county, Iowa, and has resided in the vicinity of Robins, Center Point and Rowley until in recent years when he lived with his daughter Mrs. J.E. Shaffer four and one-half miles northeast of Marion. He departed this life April 13, 1923, aged 79 years, 3 months and 16 days. He was married to Sarah Morris April 16, 1865 near Marion, and the wife preceded him in death May 23, 1912. To this union were born ten children of whom six survive to mourn the loss of their father, William R. of Robins; George Z. of Hopkinton; Earl H. of Robins; Mrs. Lulu Shaffer of Marion; Mrs. Minnie Huston of Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Mae Townsend of Robins. There are also 19 grandchildren and two great grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Dora McDonald of Highmore, South Dakota. Funeral services were held at the Shiloh church Sunday afternoon and were in charge of Rev. David Miller. Burial was in the Shiloh cemetery.
