Born July 17, 1917, in Nodaway County, Mo., to Reason and Mabel Wilson McGinness, she married Daniel Draper on Aug. 17, 1938, in Galesburg. She survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Bill (Judy) Monroe of Abingdon and Mrs. Ronald (Janice) Weiss of St. Louis; two brothers, James McGinness of Grant City, Mo., and LeRoy McGinness of Maryville, Mo.; and two sisters, her twin, Dorothy McCullough of Licking, Mo., and Clara Thurman of Florence, Colo. Born July 17, 1917, in Nodaway County, Mo., to Reason and Mabel Wilson McGinness, she married Daniel Draper on Aug. 17, 1938, in Galesburg. She survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Bill (Judy) Monroe of Abingdon and Mrs. Ronald (Janice) Weiss of St. Louis; two brothers, James McGinness of Grant City, Mo., and LeRoy McGinness of Maryville, Mo.; and two sisters, her twin, Dorothy McCullough of Licking, Mo., and Clara Thurman of Florence, Colo. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, four sisters and two brothers. An Abingdon-area resident since 1937, she and her husband wintered in Texas for the past 18 years. She worked at the former Abingdon Blue Bell. She was co-owner of the former A&D Grocery in Abingdon and then worked at the former Gale Products in Galesburg for 24 years.
