She had been under a doctor’s care. Born in Cheyenne Cheyenne County, Kansas, Mrs. Nemeth had resided in North Lawrence for the past ten years after her marriage to Frank J. Nemeth. She had been under a doctor’s care. Born in Cheyenne Cheyenne County, Kansas, Mrs. Nemeth had resided in North Lawrence for the past ten years after her marriage to Frank J. Nemeth. She was a member of Holly Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, of Benkelman, Nebraska. Surviving her are her husband, Frank J. Nemeth; a stepson Wallace McKay of North Platte, Nebraska; and three sisters. They are Mrs. Don (Pearl) Carroll of Benkelman, Nebraska, Mrs. Ed (Inez) Wigby of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Mrs Carl S. (Ruth) Hoffman of Roswell, New Mexico. The funeral was held at the Heitger Funeral Home in Massillon with the Rev. John Daum, pastor of St. Barbara’s Catholic Church officiating. Internment was in St. Johns Catholic Cemetery, Summitville (Columbiana County, Ohio. Dorothy's first husband, Harold F. Haskin, served as County Clerk of Dundy County Nebraska during the period 1931-1942. During this period Dorothy served as his assistant and worked in the County Clerk's office at Benkelman. After Harold left office Dorothy worked as clerk in the Dundy County Agricultural Adjustment Agency (AAA) in Benkelman. Harold died in 1948. She married Hugh J. McKay of Haigler, NE in 1950. Hugh owned and operated the McKay Chevrolet garage in Haigler, and Dorothy assisted him in the business. After his death in 1955 she continued to operate the facility as a Phillips 66 station and garage. In 1973 Dorothy married Frank Nemeth and moved to his home in North Lawrence, Ohio where she resided until her death.
