Memorials may be made to Guild House, 901 Red Apple Rd., Wenatchee, WA 98801. Dorothy was born Nov. 4, 1920 in Deweese, NE to Arthur and Ella (Wiverly) Keeney. Dorothy moved with her family to Manson in 1932. She married her childhood sweetheart, Bing Debar on Jan. 7, 1942 at Coeur d'Alene, and they lived a short time in Spokane and Colorado Springs, CO, where Bing was stationed during W.W. II, returning to Manson in 1945. Dorothy and Bing taught DO-SI-DO (folk dancing) to junior high students in Manson for 13 years. She was a member of Circle M (folk dance club), Manson Grange and the Lake Chelan Eagles. She was employed for a time at Lake Chelan Fruit Growers and was a Wenatchee World carrier for several years in the 1960s. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church in Chelan. Dorothy is survived by two daughters, Deanna Taylor and Candace Mogan, both of Manson; two sons, Bing of Woodinville and Kim of Royal City; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She goes to be with her parents, her husband, Bing Anthony Debar; two sisters Inez (Keeney) Davisson and Laura (Keeney) Adams; three brothers, Gerald Keeney, Lowell "Swede" Keeney and Delbert Keeney and one granddaughter, Lisa Marie Willoughby. Services are under the direction of Precht Rose Chapel, Chelan.
