Description	:	On August 10, 2016, Candace "Candy" Mogan (Debar) completed her long anticipated journey through the gates of Heaven to be with her Savior, Jesus. Her nearly year and a half battle with cancer did not interfere with spending precious time with her family and grandchildren, lovingly watching them as they played and grew. Read More	On August 10, 2016, Candace "Candy" Mogan (Debar) completed her long anticipated journey through the gates of Heaven to be with her Savior, Jesus. Her nearly year and a half battle with cancer did not interfere with spending precious time with her family and grandchildren, lovingly watching them as they played and grew. Candy was born in Chelan to Bing and Dorothy Debar, living with the family in Manson. She attended the Manson Elementary and High Schools, where she was part of the class of 1969 and later attended Wenatchee Valley College. Candy was very much a part of this community and loved by all those who met and knew her. Her whit and smile was very unforgettable, as was her musical voice. She spent many of her years actively engaged in her community in many different roles. Candy was a leader of young girls and boys in the Chelan Valley as a leader and coordinator of Camp Fire and Blue Bird groups. She was very active in the Catholic Church, taking many Sunday's to be in charge of the after service coffee social. Manson Farmers Market was one of her favorite past times, making her "Cinnamon Twists", apple pies, and many handmade children's crafts for others to enjoy. Candy became known to many more people as a manager of the Manson Video Store. Her knowledge of movies and her friendly demeanor brought people into the store not only to rent movies, but also to talk and joke with her. She would also listen to those who had concerns and was not afraid to express her opinions. To many, Candy was simply "Mom". During her children's school years, she made sure that all of their friends knew that her home was their home, and that she was known as "Mom." Her love of family and children led to helping and fostering many children over the years. These children had great respect for her, even after they left foster care, still calling her "Mom" today. Candy was met at Heavens Gates by her parents, Bing and Dorothy Debar (Keeney), sister, Deana Taylor (Debar), and daughter, Lisa Willoughby. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Daniel Mogan, four children, Chris Willoughby (Diana)of Manson, Michael Mogan of Vancouver, Wash., Paul Mogan (Holly) of Manson, and Angel (Mogan) Gosvener (Dave) of Manson, her brothers, Bing "Butch" Debar (Bonnie) of Woodinville, Kim Debar (Susie) of Manson, as well as eleven very cherished grandchildren. Services are to be held at St. Francis Catholic Church in Chelan. Viewing from 5-7 p.m. and Rosary at 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 18, and Funeral Services on Friday, August 19 at 10 a.m. with viewing prior.
