May was born August 1, 1920 at Diamond City, Alberta. She was raised on the family farm by her parents Flora and Harry Orcutt along with her brother XXX and sister Pearl. After completing school May attend business college. May was employed by Model Dairies in Calgary where she met Orvel Lawrence Webb, her beloved husband of 56 years. They were married July 28, 1945. May was born August 1, 1920 at Diamond City, Alberta. She was raised on the family farm by her parents Flora and Harry Orcutt along with her brother XXX and sister Pearl. After completing school May attend business college. May was employed by Model Dairies in Calgary where she met Orvel Lawrence Webb, her beloved husband of 56 years. They were married July 28, 1945. May and Orvel had two daughters born in Calgary. They moved to Lethbridge in 1951 and in 1952 started Webb’s Transport. They expanded and moved to Vulcan in 1959 and opened the trucking business, Vulcan Transport. May and Orvel retired in 1978 and sold the business to their daughter and son-in-law. They moved into the Peter Dawson Lodge in 2000. In 2002 May moved into Extendicare where she has resided since. May enjoyed being a member of the Vulcan Lionettes, Vulcan Curling Club and Vulcan Golf Club. May always felt fortunate having both her daughters and their families right in Vulcan. Family dinners and card games were the highlight during those years. Following May and Orvel’s retirement in 1978 they enjoyed 18 years of being snowbird’s in Arizona. May will be lovingly remembered by her daughters of Vulcan, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, her brother XXX Orcutt of Coaldale, numerous nieces and nephews, sister-in-laws and life-long special friends. May was predeceased by her father Harry in 1979, sister Pearl in 1988, her mother Flora in 1996 and her husband Orvel in 2001.
