Description	:	Havre Daily News (MT), 18 Nov 2008 Dorothy "Rose" Dion, 82, a longtime resident of Hingham and Great Falls, died peacefully of natural causes with her family at her side at the Peace Hospice in Great Falls on Saturday. She was born July 28, 1926, in Havre and raised on farm south of Havre, one of 12 children of Fred and Elizabeth Dion. She attended St. Jude's and Havre High School. She was born July 28, 1926, in Havre and raised on farm south of Havre, one of 12 children of Fred and Elizabeth Dion. She attended St. Jude's and Havre High School. In 1943, she married Joseph Farnik, and raised 4 boys (Douglas, Jerry, Michael, Eddy) on the Farnik farm north of Hingham. She was a talented musician playing as organist for the Hingham Lady of Ransom Catholic Church and the Inverness Supper Club for many years. She moved to Great Falls in 1976. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, operated a Hammond organ store, and entertained dancing with the Golden Slippers for more than 20 years. Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; son, Eddy; parents, Fred & Elizabeth Dion; five sisters and five brothers. She is survived by three sons, a brother, Walter Dion, of Havre, and 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
