In June of 1942 she was united in marriage to Edmund Kontor in Silver Creek. Dorothy was a farm wife and worked at Becton Dickinson's for several years until her retirement. She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Silver Creek and a member of the Altar Society. She enjoyed crotcheting and flowers.
