Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Stamford with the Rev. Thalia Wordworth officiating. Burial will be at Stamford Cemetery with military honors by Stamford American Legion Merlin Palmer Post 233 in conjunction with the U.S. Army Military Honors Team. Survivors include his daughter, Heather Gardner of Stamford; sister, Deanna Reynolds of Loomis; brothers, Dennis and Richard, both of Stamford, and James of Hillsdale, Wyo.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. ∼as born on October 1, 1948 and passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2015. Douglas was a resident of Stamford, Vermont at the time of his passing. He received his primary education and graduated from Stamford High School with the class of 1966. Doug was inducted into the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War. Funeral Services for Douglas A. Foster will be held on Friday August 28 2015 at 2:30 p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Stamford Nebraska with Pastor Thalia Wordworth officiating.
