Doyle was born on Oct. 18, 1951, in Akron, Colo. He was a Coloradoan at heart, where his family has farmed for five generations. Read More	Doyle Jay Souser, 56 Doyle Jay Souser, age 56, a resident of Camarillo, went to be with our Lord after the tragic Metrolink accident of Sept. 12, 2008. Doyle was born on Oct. 18, 1951, in Akron, Colo. He was a Coloradoan at heart, where his family has farmed for five generations. After high school graduation from Lone Star School in 1969, he attended Colorado State University, passed his CPA exam in 1974, and received his MBA from the University of Montana. Doyle was the general manager of Stockton Products in Burbank, California. Friends described Doyle as a devoted husband and father and a steadfast member of Camarillo's Christian community. He served in church leadership for many years, volunteering hours of ministry. Doyle was also extremely involved in the home school education of his children and the children of others in the surrounding area. Doyle was a pillar of his community who loved his family and his Lord. "He was the same man, day in and day out. You never wondered if he was going to be up or down. He was steadfast and joyful," said a close family friend. Doyle married Claudia Swanson in Boise, Idaho, on Sept. 22, 1979. Along with their children, Kelsey (19), Zachary (15), and Mackenzie (13), Doyle is also survived by his mother, Norma Souser; his sister, JoNell Mollohan and her husband, Tim, along with their children, Tyler and Brooke, all from Otis, Colo. He was preceded in death by his dear father, "PaBob" Robert L. Souser, and will be buried by him at Burdett Cemetery near the family farm. A memorial service will be held for Doyle Souser at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008, at Camarillo Community Church, 1322 Las Posas Road, Camarillo, Calif. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to the Doyle Souser Memorial Fund at Western Federal Credit Union, 4950 Verdugo Way, Camarillo, CA 93012.
