Description	:	Robert Lee Souser was the third child born to Clarence John and Mary "Mae" Delda Pritchard Souser. Farming was Bob's life and he was actively involved in the farming operations. Upon graduation form Lone Star High School in 1943, Bob enlisted in the Army. Farming was Bob's life and he was actively involved in the farming operations. Upon graduation form Lone Star High School in 1943, Bob enlisted in the Army. After serving in WWII, Bob was discharged November 30, 1946 and returned home to the life and work he loved on the family farm. Bob met Norma Ruth Imhof and they were married on September 26, 1950. The young couple lived on the home place, where they raised their two children: Doyle Jay Souser and JoNell Souser Mollohan. Another home was built for Clarence and Mae just NW of the homestead house. In 1951, a treeline was planted on the north side of the homestead; the trees are now full grown and protecting the Souser Farm from strong winds. The Souser Farm continued, as did the love of the farm, passed on to Bob and Norma's children. Bob is survived by his children and grandchildre: Doyle and wife Claudia, and their three children Kelsey, Zachary, and MacKenzie; and JoNell Souser Mollohan and husband Tim, and their children Tyler, wife Jamie, and Brooke. Bob passed away suddenly in 2005, before the Souser Farm was honored at the 2007 State Fair as a Centennial Farm.
