Description	:	Dru Decker, ten years of age, oldest son of Hardy E. Decker, Marshal of Oak Creek, and grandson of Mrs. Phoebe Decker of Yampa, was shot through the head by his younger brother in play Tuesday evening at their home at Oak Creek. Mrs. Decker had put the children to bed and stepped across the street on an errand. Mrs. Decker had put the children to bed and stepped across the street on an errand. Mr. Decker was in Steamboat and when he arrived home succeeded in drawing the story from the younger child. They had gotten up to play "robber" and each had taken a six shooter and removed the cartridges except one that would not come out. They had snapped the gun at each other in their play and the one cartridge that was left did the deed. Dru lived until 2 a. m. Wednesday, but there was no hope from the first. Another home is darkened, another father and mother are knowing the agony that death can bring, and a community is shocked beyond expression.
