| Description | : | Earl B. Berger, 90, of Fayetteville, died May 28, 2014. Berger was the former mayor of Fayetteville for 19 years, the secretary of the Southwest Ohio Firefighters Association. He represented the village of Fayetteville in 1957 as a Goodwill Ambassador to the Republic of France during the LaFayette Bicentennial in Paris, France. In 1962, he acquired the first federal grant to establish the Village of Fayetteville Water Works. He helped organize the Ohio Valley Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association.
