Several Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren; and four sisters; Bertha Kraft of Charles City, IA; Louise Sheffner of Charles City, IA; Jennie Bouillion of Ionia, IA; and Ida McNealy of Hampton, IA. Ecke passed away April 19, 1985 at the Humboldt Care Center North attaining 93 yrs. She was Baptized into the Christian Faith at the Benson Lutheran west of Benson, IL., and was a member of the Lutheran Church all of her life. She was Confirmed into the Christian Faith at St. John's Lutheran Church in Charles City, IA. She served her church as a Sunday School Teacher, Vocation Bible School Teacher, and was a member of the Lutheran Ladies Aid. In her confirmation years she was a sub. organist for the St. John's Lutheran Church in Charles City- while she was in confirmation. She was a former member of the Benson Lutheran Church of rural Benson, IL; St. John's Lutheran Church of Charles City, IA; Milford/ Schwer Lutheran Church of Milford, IL; and St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Manson, IA. She was also a current member of First Lutheran Church of Gilmore City, IA, and Zion Lutheran Church of Humboldt, IA. She was a Licensed Pratical Nurse. Also and anvid Gardener and many will remember her beautiful flower gardens. Ecke was of German decent and could sing all of the old German Hymns and Christmas Carols. Ecke joins in Heaven her parents; husband, Gerd Rosendahl on December 24, 1959; son, Arthur "Art" Rosendahl on March 7, 1985; sisters, Tena Janssen, and Johannah Nauman; brothers, Herman and Bernard Janssen; and many other Loved Ones.
