Description	:	Edgar Edward Buckingham son of Perry and Martha Buckingham, was born near Friend, Jan. 22, 1886. At the age of 10 he moved with his parents to a farm near Beaver Crossing. He married Blanche Hannah on March 8, 1911. He operated a repair shop in Beaver Crossing for over 30 years. For a number of years he served on the school board, precinct, road board and as a substitute rural mail carrier. Read More	Edgar Edward Buckingham son of Perry and Martha Buckingham, was born near Friend, Jan. 22, 1886. At the age of 10 he moved with his parents to a farm near Beaver Crossing. He married Blanche Hannah on March 8, 1911. He operated a repair shop in Beaver Crossing for over 30 years. He was a member of the Methodist church, a 40 year member of the IOOF, Rebekahs and Flowing Well Grange. Buckingham died May 7, 1966 at the Friend Hospital. His wife preceded him in death, March 7, 1922 and a son, Edward, died in December, 1964. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Elmer Krasser (Alta), Beaver Crossing; Mrs. Frank Rhoades (Pearl), Lincoln; a son, Willard, Friend, a brother, John, Pierre, S. D.; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services were held May 10 at the Beaver Crossing church with Rev. Ernest Stewart officiating. Burial was in the Beaver Crossing cemetery.
