Edgar E. Johnson

Edgar Everett Johnson, 72, of 720 Maris, died Wednesday at 9 p.m. at University Hospital in Iowa City.

The son of John Henry and Lillie Belle McGhghy Johnson, he was born Jan. 15, 1899, in Appanoose County.

A resident of Ottumwa since 1928, he was an employe of John Morrell & Co. for 31 years. He retired in April, 1959, because of ill health.

His marriage to Nina Mae Large took place Nov. 24, 1924, in Lancaster, Mo.
