Description	:	The body of Edgar Glen Daft, mention of whose death was made in last week's Review, arrived in Villisca Friday night and was taken to the Wolfe-Gourley Funeral Home to await the funeral which was held Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Methodist Church in Grant, with Rev. A. Breeling in charge of the service. The pall bearers were members of the Legion post at Grant and interment was in the Grant Cemetery. Mr. Daft, whose home was at Ponca City Oklahoma, was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Daft of Grant. He was found dead September 9, at Duncan, Oklahoma, where he was attending an American Legion Convention, his death being attributed to heart trouble. He was 37 years old at his death. Besides his parents, he is survived by a son Robert, who with his mother from Clinton, Illinois, were in Grant to attend the funeral. Mr. Daft is also survived by two brothers and a sister. They are Guy Daft of Grant, Floyd of New Haven, Conn. and Miss Ruth, who is a teacher in the public schools of Fontanelle, Iowa. The deceased was a graduate of Simpson College at Indianola, Iowa and was employed at newspaper work. Villisca Review, September 20, 1929
