Description	:	STOCKPORT — Edgar Henry Morris, 54-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Morris of Stockport, died June 24 in the Veterans hospital at Los Angeles. Morris, whose home was at Lancaster, Calif., had been hospitalized for two weeks, having suffered a heart attack. A native of Stockport, Morris was born Feb. 3, 1899. Also surviving are two brothers and a sister; Spencer and Henry Morris and Mrs. Mary Jo Lanam, all of Stockport, and a large number of more distant relatives. The body will be brought to the Burch-Catcott funeral home, in Birmingham. The Rev Roger Swearingen, immediate past pastor of the Stockport Methodist church will officiate, and the American Legion will perform the funeral ritual. Burial will be in Spencer cemetery.
