Jolly, on Saturday evening, February 27th. Sister Banks was in her seventy-second year and had been in failing health for some time. From early life she had been a member of the Torbrook Baptist Church and was a devoted and faithful member to the end. When health failed her she was unable to attend the services of the church, but she never lost her interest in all its activities. She was of a quiet disposition and ever ready to speak a kind and encouraging word, and was highly esteemed by all who knew her. Her husband predeceased her nearly seven years ago; also a daughter, Mrs. Edward Payson of Bigfield, Mass. She is survived by seven children: Forest and Guilford of Framingham, Mass.; Mrs. Earle Barrows of Worcester, Mass.; Winslow of Timmins, Ont., and Mrs Jolly and Mrs, Evans of Torbrook, The funeral service which was largely attended was held in the Baptist Church and was conducted by her pastor, the Rev. J.W. Meisner. Interment taking place in Torbrook Mines Cemetery.
