Description	:	Mrs. Edna Dean Wall, age 77, of Ararat, NC, widow of the late Warren G. Harding Wall, passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home. She was born in Surry County on March 13, 1935 to Alma Smith Collins. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Wall is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Terry (Annette) Wall of Ararat, Trent Wall of Denver, CO; two daughters, and sons-in-law Debbie (Mitchell) Casstevens of Mt. Airy, Joan (Noel) Horton of Claudville, VA; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Jack Collins, Jim Collins,... She was born in Surry County on March 13, 1935 to Alma Smith Collins. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Wall is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Terry (Annette) Wall of Ararat, Trent Wall of Denver, CO; two daughters, and sons-in-law Debbie (Mitchell) Casstevens of Mt. Airy, Joan (Noel) Horton of Claudville, VA; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Jack Collins, Jim Collins, Butch Collins all of Siloam; two sisters, Betty Sizemore of Hamptonville, and Leathy Ferguson of Mt. Airy. Mrs. Wall was preceded in death by her husband; brothers and sister, John Collins, Mae Bates, and Carl Collins. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Cox-Needham Chapel with the Rev. Tony McCann, Bro. Joey Lane and the Rev. Clayton Tilley officiating. Interment will follow at the Old Pine Hill Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 20, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Cox-Needham Funeral Home and at other times at Mrs. Wall's home at Cox Ford Road, Ararat, NC 27007. Memorials may be made in floral tribute or to Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road Dobson, NC 27017. Cox-Needham Funeral Home of Pilot Mountain is respectfully serving the Wall family.
