Description	:	BRAHMSTEADT, EDNA GARNET—Edna Garnet Brahmsteadt, daughter of Rosalvo Truman and Minnie Keyte Clark, was born at Geneva, Neb., February 2, 1917. She passed away after a long illness Tuesday, August 29, 1972, at the Fillmore county hospital in Geneva, aged 55 years, six months and 27 days. She was married to Glen Johnson of Ohiowa May 18, 1933, in Beloit, Kas. To this union five children were born. He preceded her in death in 1953. She is survived by her husband, Ivan; three sons, Glen Johnson of McAlester, Okla., Robert Johnson of Geneva, and James Johnson of Hastings; one daughter, Mrs. Bernard (Florence) Schulte of Ohiowa; a brother, Robert Clark of Geneva; four sisters, Mrs. Jewell Cole of Lusk, Wyo., Mrs. Eunice Nichols of Lakewood, Col., Mrs. Cora Sole of Omaha and Mrs. Myrle Steuterville, of Las Vegas, New.; 14 grandchildren, several nephews and nieces and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Glen Johnson, an infant son, Ira Lee Johnson; six brothers, three sisters and two grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at the Farmer-Harris funeral home in Geneva at 2 p. m. Friday, September 1, with Pastor Edward A. Johnson of Ohiowa officiating. Mrs. Blanche Rosenau of Geneva sang “Beyond the sunset” and “How Great Thou Art.” Accompanist was Mrs. Willard Foster of Geneva. Pallbearers were Bernard Schulte, Don Doremus, John Foster, Joe Turek, George Volkmer and David Clark. Interment was in the Geneva cemetery. The Nebraska Signal 7 September 1972
