She was born March 29,1905 in Wabash County,Indiana to John Hicklin Vickery and Sarah Jane (Jennings) Vickery. She married David Emil Usher on January 23,1926 in Marion,Indiana;he died April 14,1986. The Ushers resided on a farm in Wabash County until their retirement,then moved into Wabash. After the death of her husband,Edrie relocated to Florida to live with her daughter. She attributed her long and happy life to her faith in God,love of family and friends,a desire to help her fellow man,clean living... She is survived by her daughter,Bonnie Sittser of Parkland;two grandsons,David(Kim)Kulb of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Robert(Mayre)Kulb of Atlanta,Georgia;four great-grandchildren,Alan Kulb,Carolyn Kulb,Katie Kulb and Robert J.Kulb;her brother-in-law,William M.Usher of Ft. Wayne;her niece,Gladys Cook of Wabash;her nephew,William Usher of Ft.Wayne;several great-nieces and nephews,and great-great nieces and nephews. She is proceded in death by twelve brothers and sisters and their spouses and twenty-nine nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Lincolnville United Methodist Church,5848E 500S,Wabash,on Saturday,March 31,2007 at 10AM with Rev. Meilssa Rice officiating. Burial will follow at Center Grove Cemetery.
