Description	:	Edward H. Laschanzky, son of Alfred and Christina Laschanzky, was born December 29, 1891 at Fairmont, Neb. He passed away December 6th, 1953 at the age of 61 years, 11 months and 5 days. Edward died in his sleep at the old home place where he was born and lived his entire life. In 1923, he moved... Read More	Edward H. Laschanzky, son of Alfred and Christina Laschanzky, was born December 29, 1891 at Fairmont, Neb. He passed away December 6th, 1953 at the age of 61 years, 11 months and 5 days. Edward died in his sleep at the old home place where he was born and lived his entire life. As a boy, he attended District 1 school and Fairmont high school. He served in the Army in France during the first World War. Following his service in the Army, Edward made his home with his parents. In 1923, he moved to Fairmont with hie parents and did carpenter work until 1941, when he returned to the home farm, where he lived until his death. Edward's father preceded him in death, and a brother and sister died in infancy. He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Christina Laschanzky of Geneva; three brothers, Alfred F. of Fairmont, Walter E. of Hollister, Cal., and Harvey G Laschanzky of Lucerne Valley, Cal.; one sister, Mrs. W.D. (Louise) Smith of York; three nieces and one nephew and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, December 6, at 2:30 p.m. at the Kritner-Ashby Funeral Home. Rev.
