Description	:	Last Rites Held Here Friday For E. H. Haggstrom -- Funeral services were held for Edward Herbert Haggstrom at the Methodist Church Friday March 31 at 2 o'clock with the Rev. O. K. Oelke officiating. The Lutheran Junior Choir sang "In the Garden", "Old Rugged Cross", and "Abide With Me." Mrs. Victor Grossart was the pianist. The pallbearers were: Bill Joyce, Ed Lange, Dan Harvey, Emmett Nelson, Hank Rother and August Larson. Edward Herbert Haggstrom was born in Svartbacken, Boden, Sweden, March 16, 1869. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Church at Boden by the Rev. Nordenstam. In 1906 Edward with his family left Sweden and came to America settling in St. Paul. They later moved to Greeley County and farmed on different farms until 1934, when he retired and moved to Brayton. Six years ago Mr. Haggstrom and his wife moved to Wolbach, to the place he lived until he passed away on March 29, 1950 at the age of 81 years and 13 days. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Robert Peterson of Wolbach; six sons, Aaron of Wolbach, Arthur and Fabian of Los Angeles, California, Heldge of Salinas, California, Felix of Grand Island and August of Arlington; 26 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Marie Oswald of St. Paul, Minnesota; and a host of friends. Rebert, as he was known by his many friends, was well liked by all who knew him. For the past six months he suffered much pain, but not once did he complain. Interment was in Hillside Cemetery.
