Born July 25, 1898, at Scribner, he was a lifetime resident of the area. Mr. Hoge farmed in the Scribner area until 1949 when he moved to Fremont. He then worked 20 years for Memorial Hospital of Dodge County. Mr. Hoge was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church here. Born July 25, 1898, at Scribner, he was a lifetime resident of the area. Mr. Hoge farmed in the Scribner area until 1949 when he moved to Fremont. He then worked 20 years for Memorial Hospital of Dodge County. Mr. Hoge was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church here. He married the former Meta Wegner Feb. 22, 1922, in Trinity Lutheran Church near Scribner. She survives. Other survivors include a son, Kenneth of Scribner; a daughter, Mrs. Henry (Norma) Lorenz of Lincoln; two sisters, Mrs. Meta Alberts of Snyder and Mrs. John (Luelle) Steinke of Scribner; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Trinity Lutheran Church here with the Rev. Donald Levenhagen officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery.
