Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 30, at 1:30 p.m., at Wayne Zion Lutheran church. Rev. Harvey Gilbertson conducted the service. Burial was in Wayne Zion cemetery. He was born Oct. 2, 1902 son of Frederick Husmann and Trienka M. Dirks, on the present farm he was framing in Cass Township. He attended Cass center school. He was married Nov 2, 1922, to Mary Lubben at Wayne Zion Lutheran church. They had lived their married life on the present farm in Cass Township. Survivors Listed Survivors include his wife, Mary; five daughters, Alice, Mrs. DeVere Sauer, Walker; Lora, Mrs. Joe Ruley, Oxford Junction; Eloise, Mrs. Lester Ricklefs, Anamosa; Loretta, Mrs. Ronald Stahlberg, Waverly; and Mary, Mrs. James Murray, Oxford Junction; and two nephews the Hussmann's raised since infancy, John Lubben, United States Army, Huntsville, Ala; and James Lubben, Rockford, Ill. Other survivors include his step-father, William Folkerts, Anamosa; one brother Henry, Scotch Grove; and two sisters, Mrs. J. Stanley Waggoner, Anamosa and Mrs. Anna Sayer, Des Moines. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son.
