Description	:	Edward Kucera, Farmer Near Elberon, Is Dead Edward Kucera, 64, died about 8 oclock Monday evening, March 4, 1963, at his home, 4 miles southwest of Elberon. He had been in poor health during the last year. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, March 6, in the Funeral Home at Keystone, conducted by the Rev. Alvin H. Boettcher, pastor of the Belle Plaine Congregational church. Mr. Kucera, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Kucera, was born on a farm near Clutier, Oct. 30, 1898, and was reared to manhood in that community. He was married to Ida Valenta on Jan. 21, 1924, at Toledo. The couple began farming near Clutier, and were residents of that community for 20 years. In 1944 they bought and moved to their present home farm southwest of Elberon. They have no children. Surviving with Mrs. Kucera are 3 sisters: Mrs. Arley (Ella) Vileta, of Elberon; Mrs. Art (Frances) Rebik, of Toledo; and Mrs. Charles (Anna) Bradford, of Belle Plaine; and two brothers: William, of Tama, and John, of Clutier. Preceding him in death were his parents and two brothers: Frank Kucera, of Clutier, and George, of Elberon.
