Read More	Edward Lee Wallace, Maryville, Mo. 1931 - 2009 MARYVILLE, Mo. — Edward Lee Wallace, 77, Maryville, died on Wednesday, March 18, 2009, at Golden Living Community in Maryville. Born July 23, 1931, in Maryville, he was the son of Ora and Dorothy Helen Emery Wallace. He was the husband of the late Sylvia Coulter Wallace, whom he married May 11, 1957, in Neola, Iowa. Ed worked for Howard Construction in Sedalia, Mo., for 30 years; upon returning to Maryville, he became a Superintendent for Loch Sand and Construction Company, Maryville. He was a graduate of Maryville High School and attended Laura Street Baptist Church. A veteran, Ed served with the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Ed was a member of the Seth-Ray-David VFW Post No. 442, James Edward Gray American Legion Post No. 100, Maryville, Ingomar Lodge No. 536 AF and AM, Willow Springs, Mo., and Abou Ben Adhem Temple, Springfield, Mo. He was predeceased by his father and his wife Sylvia Coulter Wallace, who died on Nov. 7, 1993. Surviving are his mother Dorothy Helen Snowden, Burlington Junction, Mo.; son, Mike (Pam) Wallace, Maryville; daughters: Rosemary Roberts and Sherry Carnahan, both of Maitland, Mo.; and Joyce Wallace, Maryville; brother, Ralph Wallace, Elmo, Mo.; sisters: Dora Jean Henry, Braddyville, Iowa; Velma Royalty, Council Bluffs, Iowa; and Kay Christiansen, Clearmont, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and companion, Winnie Burns, Maryville. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 20, Price Funeral Home Chapel, Maryville. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 21, Price Funeral Home Chapel, Maryville. Burial will be in Miriam Cemetery, Maryville. James Edward Gray American Legion Post No. 100 and Tri-C American Legion Post No. 446 will provide military services at graveside.
