Read More	The Nebraska Signal (Geneva, NE), Thursday, October 24, 1963 ANDERSON, EDWARD MATTSON—Edward Mattson Anderson, son of Louis and Mary Anderson, was born January 31, 1887 in Clay county (sic), Nebraska. He passed away October 15, 1963, at St. Elizabeth hospital in Lincoln, Neb., at the age of 76 years, 8 months and 15 days. He was a member of First Methodist church (sic) of Geneva. He was united in marriage to Amanda Anderson February 20, 1908, and to this union were born 10 children. Mr. Anderson spent most of his lifetime farming in Clay and Fillmore counties. Mr. and Mrs. Anderson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1958. The family moved to Fillmore county (sic) in 1932 from Clay county (sic). For 12 years they resided on a farm northwest of Strang before removing to Geneva three years ago. Survivors are his wife, Amanda, sons, Harry of Sacramento, Cal., Floyd of Turlock, Cal., LeRoy of Los Angeles, Cal., Wilbur of Geneva, daughters, Olive, Mrs. Floyd Myers of Fleming, Col., Wilma, Mrs. Lawrence Spickelmier of Bruning, Violet, Mrs. William Nagel, Jeannett, Mrs. Donald Busal, and Darlene, Mrs. Daniel O'Connell, all of Sioux Falls, S. D., a sister, Rose, Mrs. Edmund Burklund of Geneva, also 21 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Merle Everett, his father and mother, and brother, Louis. Funeral services were held at the Kritner-Farmer funeral home in Geneva at 2 p. m. Saturday, October 19, Rev. Alden B. Sears officiated. Ralph Reemts sang "Abide With Me" and "What a Friend," accompanied by Mrs. Norva Mossman. Pallbearers were Gay Fisher, Richard Janing, Donald Kimbrough, Arthur Toren, Neal Tucker and Norman Yates. Interment was in the Sutton cemetery (sic). The Nebraska Signal 24 Oct. 1963
