Description	:	Born in Vermont, Mr. Skiff was a youth when his parents moved to St. Paul, Nebraska where as pioneers they resided in dugouts. He came to Norfolk about fifty years ago and was married to Miss Christina Eppler. He worked for a number of years for the Norfolk Packing company and at the time of his death was employed as a custodian at Scared Heart school. Read More	Born in Vermont, Mr. Skiff was a youth when his parents moved to St. Paul, Nebraska where as pioneers they resided in dugouts. He came to Norfolk about fifty years ago and was married to Miss Christina Eppler. He worked for a number of years for the Norfolk Packing company and at the time of his death was employed as a custodian at Scared Heart school. He was walking home in a blizzard from his work at Sacred Heart school when he was stricken with a heart attack. He was found dead on the railroad tracks near his home at 11:30 this morning (Feb. 7) at the height of the storm. Surviving are his wife, three sons, Clifford and John, both of Norfolk, and William, Maywood, California; three daughters, Mrs. Lawrence Wead and Miss Marie, Norfolk, and Mrs. Mabel Olson, Kearney; two sisters, Mrs. Ray Benish, Santa Ana, California and Mrs. Henry A. Ferris, Norfolk, and four brothers, William, Norfolk; Jim, near Norfolk; George, Lincoln, and Andrew, Eugene, Oregon. Another son, Erdman, was fatally injured in an accident several years ago.
